Job description

Our client is looking for an Engineering Technician for their West Melbourne, Florida location.

You'd be responsible for providing test support for the Engineering, internal and contract manufacturing departments of BK Technologies. Automated Align and Final Test software and system integration for LMR portable and mobile products will be used/maintained from the use of MPS (minimum performance standards), TIA Standards, and technical design documents. This position will regularly interface with Engineering R&D department, Florida, Florida Manufacturing department, and the contract manufacturer to support product transition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet all of the Technician Ill requirements plus demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot any product to component level
• Demonstrate some circuit analysis capabilities and be able to assist the Engineers in resolving production failures as well as pilot run debugging
• Experience in RF, digital and analog circuitry
• Be familiar with EIA/TIA and MPS test methods
