Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Manufacturing and Process Engineers in a fast-paced, highly automated production environment. This role focuses on maintaining and improving processes, offering hands-on technical support for CNC machining, robotics, tooling, and process recovery.

It serves as a pipeline into Process Engineering in a high-volume, precision machining and assembly setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in machining/manufacturing environments.
• Strong CNC machining processes and tooling knowledge.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing and Process Engineers on the shop floor.
• Maintain and improve manufacturing processes in a high-volume setting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Help optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Gain exposure to machining process development and lean initiatives.
