Job summary

CTDI is seeking a driven Test Engineer to join its CATV test systems team in Memphis. You will support and maintain test systems on the production line, troubleshoot issues, and generate diagnostics and status reports.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electrical engineering or related field, 0-2 years hands-on experience, and familiarity with C, C++, Python, and Linux. The role offers weekly pay, a monthly incentive bonus, and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience in Test Engineering and production shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain test systems for testing consumer electronics in production line.
• Troubleshoot test systems and find root cause; resolve issues.
• Analyze technical requirements and effort for test systems and products.
• Generate engineering documents: schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and status reports.
• Configure and calibrate test systems.
• Monitor tester performance and improve it.
• Report software bugs to development team.
• Implement new software into test systems and upgrade software/hardware as needed.

This individual will be involved with cutting‑edge Cable TV (CATV) head‑end equipment and set top box technology. This individual should be a high-energy, quick learner who enjoys a hands‑on, fast‑paced work environment.

1st Shift:

6:00AM - 2:40PM, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Support and Maintain Test Systems for Testing Consumer Electronicsin production line
• Troubleshoot test systems and find root cause of problems and resolve

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronics
• 0-2years’ experiencein Test Engineering and Production Shop floor experience
• Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems
• Basic knowledge of C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI or LINUX applications
• UnderstandingAndroid/iOSPhones Testingis a plus
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications

Required Experience

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of Science (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Internship or project experience with test engineering
