Job summary

Ecolab is seeking Engineering Technical Sales Interns for a 11-week summer program. You will blend engineering with consultative sales to help customers improve energy and water use, while building relationships across a large customer base.

The internship includes safety and technical training, field site visits, relocation consideration, and potential for a full-time role after graduation. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial).
• Graduating December 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Valid US Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Complete an independent project(s) under primary trainer's direction to yield calculated ROI.
• Complete safety training and technical lessons related to water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in service at customer sites to ensure correct chemical application and process optimization.
• Complete introductory training of the consultative sales approach.
• Visit multiple customer sites across the region to learn best practices and unit applications.
• Build key relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
• Work across regional sales districts to gain technical knowledge and sales experience.
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives; may be tested on Boilers, Cooling Towers, Closed loops, RO and filtration.
