Job summary

Flex is seeking an experienced engineer to perform complex tests, analyze results, and develop solutions for industrial equipment and machinery in Memphis. You will assemble components, set up tests, and ensure documentation is current while training technicians on processes.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent plus about 8 years of related experience, with advanced technical skills and the ability to work across projects.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an Associate degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
• Demonstrates advanced technical skills and ability to lead/guide other employees.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks.
• Analyzes engineering test results and implements changes to resolve problems.
• Collects data, analyzes results and implements procedures.
• Reviews project instructions and blueprints to determine test specs and objectives.
• Devises, fabricates and assembles mechanical components or assemblies.
• Sets up and conducts tests of complete units under operational conditions.
• Analyzes test results and modifies equipment to meet specs.
• Records test procedures and results and recommends changes.
