Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree, military training, or equivalent vocational training.
• Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, testing, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks.
• Analyzes test results and implements changes to resolve problems.
• Collects data, analyzes results and implements procedures.
• Reviews instructions and blueprints to determine test specs, procedures and objectives.
• Devises, fabricates and assembles mechanical components or assemblies.
• Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions.
• Analyzes test results and adjusts equipment to meet specifications.
• Records test procedures and results and recommends changes.
• Maintains software, documentation and equipment to current specs.
• Trains technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
