Job summary

ComTec Solutions LLC is seeking a Technical Lead for the Enterprise Systems Group in Richardson, TX. You will guide the technical team, ensure process adherence, and deliver Epicor-based solutions aligned with client specifications.

You will mentor engineers, support hiring and onboarding, and collaborate with consulting leads to design high‑quality solutions while keeping projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress Databases (Intermediate).
• Must be able to read, correctly interpret, develop, implement and test solutions based on the specifications document.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pleasant and professional demeanor in all client and internal communications.
• Independent worker and able to work effectively on daily tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to schedule for evening or weekend work occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the technical team to deliver Epicor solutions.
• Develop, test, and document client software changes.
• Manage queue to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Provide classroom training to end users on Epicor tools.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding of Technical Team Members.
• Coordinate with consulting leads for quality solution design.
• Lead weekly team meetings and participate in escalation meetings.
• Contribute to process improvements and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers and maintain client satisfaction.
