Voith Group in West Monroe, LA seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead and coach the engineering team, manage multiple projects, and allocate resources to meet site and regional goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic directions and financial targets.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and data-driven decision making, with focus on customer service and revenue generation. A strong engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or 2 years of college with >5 years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in Paper & Pulp, Engineering, Service, and/or Machine Shop.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills.
• Lean Management, Six Sigma and/or Operational Excellence training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead direct reports, set targets and budgets for the site (25% focus).
• Provide technical recommendations and support to internal and external customers (15%).
• Investigate problems and lead in recommending improvements for quality across products and services (20%).
• Evaluate workloads to optimize departmental efficiency (20%).
• Develop and coach team; enhance project management and skill sets (20%).
• Manage shop jobs with emphasis on customer service and revenue generation (10–30 open jobs).
