Job summary

Electric Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting for engineering and other roles across Alaska and Washington. This hands-on role focuses on creative sourcing strategies, in-person recruiting events, and building strong pipelines.

You will partner with hiring managers, manage high-volume requisitions, and ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with EEO and employment laws. Remote travel to events may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in professional or hard-to-fill environments.
• Experience in writing, revising, and optimizing job postings.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Experience sourcing talent on multiple job boards, social platforms, and alternative channels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS platforms (preferably ADP).
• Serve as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates to understand hiring goals, priorities, and needs.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with onboarding and pre-employment processes.
• Willingness to travel for recruiting events and job fairs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to develop and refine job postings.
• Conduct outreach on various job platforms, social media, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach.
• Screen applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
• Manage high-volume requisitions to fill openings.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to build strong talent pipelines.
• Plan, schedule, and attend recruiting events, job fairs, expos, and community outreach efforts.
• Promote company brand, culture, and career opportunities to candidates and external partners.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, reference checks, and employment processing.
• Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps.
• Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines and employment laws throughout the recruiting process.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking, reporting, compliance documentation (VEVRAA, Section 503, AAP, NDE Analyses).
