Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking an Engineering Systems Manager in Cheshire, CT to drive standardization and continuous improvement of engineering systems, data, and digital processes across the organization.

The role provides functional leadership to CNC programmers, ensures CAD/CAM best practices, and collaborates with IT, manufacturing operations, quality, and continuous improvement to optimize product flow. Requires a BS in engineering and 8+ years in manufacturing with 4+ years in management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment; 4+ years of management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain engineering systems, applications, and configurations to support engineering and manufacturing activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineering standards, workflows, and standard work to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain engineering data, templates, and CAD/CAM standards for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide functional leadership to CNC programmers and establish programming standards and best practices.
• Build CNC programming bench strength through learning and development opportunities.
• Coordinate engineering system improvements with IT, software vendors, and Global Engineering.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate activities, and increase productivity.
• Support Engineering Managers and manufacturing operations with tools, standards, and technical support.
• Participate in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and digital capability initiatives.
