Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is seeking a motivated student for a co‑op internship in Mature Military Engines production support. You will join a multidisciplinary team and gain on‑the‑job training while contributing fresh ideas to the department.

The program runs January to June, requires residency in Puerto Rico, and offers hybrid work with days onsite and remote scheduling as assigned. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • U.S. citizenship required; access to restricted systems/tools may apply.
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at start; relocation not offered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Mature Military Engines during production phase.
  • Join a multidisciplinary engineers team enabling deliveries to customers.
  • Develop understanding of industry, operations, and department contributions.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and be a productive department member.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in an applicable field of study.
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil and Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

ESTO provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, enabling engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This position is classified: Hybrid. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
