Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Pullman, WA seeks an Engineering Support Specialist to perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on training of tools and equipment under guidance from experienced staff.

You will analyze data, assist with builds/teardowns, maintain master data, and contribute to process improvements with a focus on reliability and quality in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and strong benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing, experimentation, service and troubleshooting of products and processes under guidance from experienced staff
• Provide basic technical support to SEL employees and/or customers
• Provide hands-on training for the use of tools, equipment, and standard work
• Record and maintain accurate master data (e.g., business system data, quality data, customer data, time logging)
• Analyze data using established sources to deliver accurate reports
• Assist with builds, teardowns, overhauls, and process improvements with oversight from engineering owners
