Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a hands-on technician to support manufacturing processes. You will provide immediate technical support, help measure yield and efficiency, and document procedures.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with manufacturing equipment, and basic PC skills (Excel, Word, SQL). Travel to training sites may be necessary. SEL offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing equipment relevant to the role.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, SQL)
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Assist in measuring and improving yield, efficiency, and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Document, modify, and maintain manufacturing related procedures.
• Manage the procurement of assembly process tools.
• Train operators and support staff as needed.
