Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks an Engineering Supervisor for HOTEL PASEO in Palm Desert to lead and supervise the engineering team, ensuring seamless hotel operations. The role includes overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and safety programs while coordinating projects and interacting with guests, vendors, and contractors.

You will ensure adherence to brand standards and perform daily maintenance and inspections of public and back-of-house areas.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong technical expertise in operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents including blueprints and schematics; OSHA standards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building operations in partnership with Director of Engineering.
• Direct and inspect the engineering/maintenance team daily to meet standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate and roll out projects as directed.
• Interact with guests, contractors, and vendors as needed.
• Adhere to brand and service standards.
