Job summary

Montage International in Big Sky seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead daily facilities operations with emphasis on safety, security, and asset protection. This role partners with leadership to advance the hotel's goals and guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in engineering, 2+ years supervising, and strong knowledge of mechanical trades and hospitality software. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years’ experience in engineering.
• 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• 2 years’ experience in mechanical trades.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand workplace language.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and property software (HotSOS, EMS).

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling of paint projects, room maintenance planning and follow-up walk-throughs.
• In-depth knowledge of all fire and life safety systems on the property.
• Assist with department trainings and pre-shift programs.
• Assist in managing associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling and quarterly meetings.
• Complete daily shift reports and communicate with the manager.
• Collaborate with department leaders and hourly staff to ensure guest experiences are seamless.
• Circulate on the hotel grounds to ensure every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
