Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an experienced engineering leader to provide engineering/technical support to the group and administrative leadership support to the manager or director. The role includes billable client work, project leadership, and responsible charge engineering duties, with oversight of engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Civil Engineering required.
• ABET accreditation preferred for the engineering degree.
• State Professional Engineer (PE) registration required or preferred depending on supervision area.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor other Engineering professionals.
• Review work of subordinate Engineering professionals.
• Provide engineering/technical guidance for problem solving.
• Approve timecards and expense reports for direct reports; assist in annual reviews.
• Assist in recruiting efforts.
• Assist in business development and strategic planning for the group.
• Perform project management on assigned client projects with responsible charge duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
