Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems across our Maris Grove campus. You will lead HVAC operations, supervise the engineering team, and ensure proactive maintenance while implementing energy-saving measures.

The role requires extensive experience with multi-boiler and multi-chiller setups, and candidate will drive operational excellence with a focus on safety and reliability in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations.
• Knowledge of computerized energy management systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Stationary Engineer license preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire.
• AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire.
• NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Carry out company policy and duties as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Supervise and train the engineering staff in the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems.
• Responsible for the preventative maintenance and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery.
• Supervise and train the HVAC mechanics to do preventative maintenance, major maintenance, and emergency calls on all HVAC equipment campus-wide.
• Responsible for the formulation and implementation of energy savings operations.
• Formulate a “sequence of operations” to best utilize the central plant machinery.
• Maintain proper and adequate inventory of spare parts.
