Job summary

Hilton Richmond is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the daily maintenance and engineering operations of the hotel. You will supervise the engineering team, manage preventive maintenance, and respond to repairs to keep building systems safe and fully operational for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in hotel maintenance, strong knowledge of life-safety and building codes, and experience with CMMS and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trades preferred.
• EPA, CPO, or HVAC certifications a plus.
• Minimum 2–4 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial building.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily supervision of the engineering and maintenance team.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to guestroom and public area maintenance requests.
• Maintain PM logs, work orders, compliance documents, and safety inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
