Job Description

Join our team as an Engineering Supervisor and become part of the Auberge Family. We are looking for a hands‑on professional who is passionate about leading and developing an engineering team across both technical and operational areas. In this role, you will oversee projects from start to finish while ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all team members.

Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Guide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.
  • Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs.
  • Assume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system.
  • Respond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner.
  • Respond to all emergency or life‑threatening situations.
  • Follow established safety procedures.
  • Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs.

The starting range for this position is $36.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3‑4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired.
  • Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment.
  • Need to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts, materials, and necessary tools.
  • Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, co‑workers, and management.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi‑lingual – Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with GSuite.
  • Prior hospitality experience.
