Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking an Undergraduate Engineering Intern for a May–August internship in the United States. The role supports design, testing, data collection, and documentation across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams, with exposure to CAD/CAM tools and SolidWorks.

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are required. Responsibilities include creating CAD models and drawings, performing data analysis, and assisting with shop-floor testing and process

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or related engineering discipline
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Undergraduate student starting junior or senior year in Fall
• Available for a Summer internship May–August
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort in hands-on, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Support technical design and documentation, including CAD models, drawings, BOMs, work instructions, routings, and ECOs
• Collect and analyze data, review test results, identify trends, prepare reports
• Assist engineering labs, manufacturing, and shop-floor with testing, production support, time studies, process mapping, project tracking, issue resolution
• Contribute to quality, safety, LEAN, process standardization, and continuous improvement activities
• Help ensure work meets engineering standards and customer, contract, quality, schedule, regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, materials, project management, sales, suppliers
• Apply SQDCG principles and complete assigned work accurately, safely, and on time
