Job summary

The Engineering Student Engagement Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering helps enhance student involvement, leadership growth, and academic success through co‑curricular programs and the new ImagiNEXT initiative. It supports access to hands-on opportunities, experiential learning, and industry/community engagement across campuses and programs.

Responsibilities include organizing programs, publishing content for communications, managing logistics for immersion

Qualifications

Experience developing, coordinating, or implementing programs, events, and initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Experience working directly with college students to promote engagement, personal development, and academic success.
Experience planning and managing program operations, such as scheduling, communications, registration processes, event logistics, and post-event assessment.

Responsibilities

Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives.
Writes, edits, and publishes content for communications and marketing platforms to align with campaigns.
Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services.
Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes.
Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders.
