Summary

We are seeking a skilled RF Technician to support the development of automotive products within the Qorvo Automotive Connectivity Business Unit (ACBU). Responsibilities include executing test plans, making RF and electronic measurements, maintaining test stations, debugging technical issues, and assisting with product design and characterization.

Responsibilities

1. Execute test plans using Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
2. Perform manual RF and electronic measurements.
3. Maintain and calibrate test stations.
4. Debug hardware issues.
5. Support customer issue investigations through measurements.
6. Create test plans and data plots.
7. Perform basic assembly tasks such as populating evaluation boards and wiring harnesses.

Minimum Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience as an RF or related technician.
• Associate degree in EE/EET or equivalent experience.
• Experience with RF measurements using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Knowledge of RF circuitry components like PAs, switches, LNAs, filters, and couplers.
• Understanding of RF KPIs such as Gain, ACLR, NF, Noise, Return Loss, EVM, etc.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot open-ended problems.
• Experience with RF calibration and configuring test equipment.
• Preferred: Programming test hardware, working with probe and laser stations.
