Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking an Engineering Specialist I - Tailings at our Bagdad, Arizona site.

Under close supervision, you will assist in providing technical guidance for designated projects and work with vendors to administer contracts for services and equipment. The role supports site construction, expansion, or modification projects while developing knowledge of local regulations and site requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4 years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing technical advice and guidance for designated engineering projects and programs at the assigned site.
• Assist in the review, investigation and development of appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects.
• Participate on small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
