Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Engineering Specialist to join our team in a dynamic, growth-oriented culture. You will contribute to application engineering, programming, troubleshooting, and startup of installed Building Automation Systems, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety and project standards. Frequent site visits and a valid driver’s license are required as part of delivering world-class

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems.
• Basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Frequent visits to jobsites are required, including travel to remote towns/villages. Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); basic networking & IT skills (Security & Building Automation primarily).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the application engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up, and check-out of installed projects including small to medium projects that are less complex.
• Individuals work shall be in accordance with the established quality standards.
• This role is the technical support contact for our customer and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction with installed Building Automation Systems.
• Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
