Flex is seeking an Engineering Specialist to join our Des Moines, Iowa team. You will fabricate drawing packages, review designs for quality and alignment with specifications, and provide engineering support across project lifecycles.

This role supports customers and internal departments, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to learn new skills while communicating effectively in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Proficient with CAD programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Proficient with Windows-based PCs, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office suite.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate drawing packages using engineering processes and skills.
• Review drawings for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Provide engineering support, project management and fabrication expertise.
• Help ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Collaborate with team, specialists, support staff and engineers.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and effective communication skills.
