Job summary

Onshape, a PTC company, is seeking a Social Media & Digital Community Strategist in Boston. You will shape how Onshape engages with engineering communities, craft content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, Reddit, and X, and grow authentic voices across the ecosystem.

You will develop strategies, publish diverse content including customer stories and explainers, and partner with teams to refine approach using data and platform insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B social media, digital communities, content, or related market influence roles.
• Experience editing short-form video for social media with captions.
• Experience engaging technical or engineering audiences; familiarity with CAD or technical software is valuable.
• Experience building relationships in online communities and developing employee or executive LinkedIn advocacy.
• Experience with social listening, analytics, and publishing tools; Brandwatch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Onshape’s social and community strategy across channels.
• Create and publish customer stories, technical explainers, executive perspectives, video, and event coverage.
• Build employee and executive advocacy to expand Onshape’s reach.
• Monitor conversations and trends with Brandwatch and translate insights into content and campaigns.
• Collaborate with SEO/GEO teams and other internal groups to improve visibility and content impact.
