Job summary

Onshape by PTC is seeking a Social Media and Digital Community Strategist to shape presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, Reddit, and X. You will create content, engage with engineering communities, and drive an employee advocacy program to extend Onshape’s reach.

You’ll monitor conversations using Brandwatch and platform data, translate insights into campaigns, and work with SEO/GEO teams to boost organic visibility. 3+ years in relevant roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B social media, digital communities, content, or related market influence roles.
• Experience editing short‑form video for social media, including adapting footage and captions.
• Experience engaging technical or engineering audiences; familiarity with CAD, manufacturing, or technical software is valuable.
• Experience building relationships in online communities and employee/executive LinkedIn advocacy.
• Experience with social listening, analytics, and publishing tools; Brandwatch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Onshape’s social and community strategy across multiple platforms.
• Engage with CAD, engineering, manufacturing, and product development communities.
• Create and publish content including customer stories, technical explainers, and event coverage.
• Build an employee and executive advocacy program to expand Onshape’s reach.
• Use data to monitor conversations and translate insights into campaigns and paid media.
