Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Shift Lead as part of the Engineering team. You will direct the third shift in a world-class plastic injection molding plant, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while leading a skilled team on daily production objectives.

You will serve as a technical leader across operations, coordinating with other shifts, mentoring technicians, and implementing process improvements to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Experience with Injection Molding, automation, and WCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all shift members to meet production goals (SQDCE).
• Serve as primary communication link between shifts to ensure data flow and issue resolution.
• Ensure proper use of facilities, tools, equipment, and manpower to meet safety and quality requirements.
• Lead problem solving for equipment issues and mentor shop floor teams.
• Develop technicians in advanced problem-solving and skills training.
