Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Analyst, Engineering-Swing Shift to lead the first shift in a world-class plastic injection molding plant. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while guiding a team to meet daily production objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing know-how, and the ability to mentor technicians; knowledge of Kronos, SAP, and Google apps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all team members on the shift to achieve production goals (SQDCE).
• Serve as the primary communication link with other shifts for data transfer and issue resolution.
• Ensure proper utilization of facilities, tools, and manpower to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant manufacturing operations, processes, and production flow.
• Mentor and train shop floor teams; drive problem solving for equipment issues.
• Lead projects and optimize processes; transfer knowledge to others; maintain good employee relations.
