Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor responsible for all phases of maintenance, repair, and modification of hospital buildings, equipment, and facilities. You will supervise the maintenance staff and ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications include a technical/vocational credential in engineering technology, experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 years vocational training or equivalent work experience.
• Licenses: Trade/tech certificate or license in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, electronics or general construction.
• Hospital maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and assign daily tasks.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Administer preventative maintenance program for the facility.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering Manager on projects and budgets.
