Job summary

PACCAR Technical Center, located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington, seeks an Engineering Services and Operations Manager to lead multiple functions including program management, document control, quality systems, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Extensive leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

The role involves developing schedules and budgets, managing capital projects, and traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Leadership, Program Management and/or Operations Management.
• Experience managing people, performance, and leading a team.
• Able to communicate effectively across functional boundaries and up/down the leadership chain.
• Able to function in abstract environments and manage unfamiliar functions.
• Strong background in project management and networking across organizations.
• Able to handle fast-paced, results-oriented work and multiple priorities.
• Organized, self-motivated, and proactive about improvements.
• Evaluate proposals with sound judgment and make recommendations.
• Adaptable to new environments and objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Program Managers for vehicle programs.
• Create, track, and communicate program schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
• Assess resources across the facility to support requested work.
• Develop new processes, standards, and tools for program management.
