Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Program Manager to lead the technical management of vehicle programs at the PACCAR Technical Center in Washington. You will ensure compliance with Division and Corporate standards and drive on-time implementation of each project.

The role requires coordinating with PACCAR divisions, suppliers, and development partners; managing schedules, deliverables and budgets; and mentoring teams in new processes and tools. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Leadership, Program Management and/or Operations Management.
• Able to communicate effectively across functional boundaries and leadership levels.
• Strong background in project management with cross-divisional collaboration.
• Able to establish a network across organizations and disciplines.
• Fast-paced, results-oriented with multiple priorities.
• Organized and self-motivated with proactive process improvements.
• Able to evaluate proposals using sound judgment and present recommendations.
• Adaptable to new environments to achieve objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; MS Office, Visio, MS Project experience a plus.

• Lead Vehicle Programs at PACCAR Technical Center.
• Maintain open communication among stakeholders including divisions, suppliers and partners.
• Resolve, communicate, and prioritize program issues promptly.
• Create, track, and communicate program schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
• Coordinate vehicle fleet testing with testing activities.
• Develop new processes, standards and tools for program management.
• Mentor and train others in new processes and tools.
• Ensure adherence to program management policies and procedures.
• Develop reporting and metrics.
