Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate in Engineering Services - Maintenance in Malabar, FL to support production testing of high‑speed avionics open architecture processors, fiber optic switch modules, and chassis. You will apply electronic theory and testing procedures to maintain and troubleshoot test equipment used on deliverable hardware.

Key duties include data collection, test reporting, interpreting schematics, and collaborating with engineers to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect test data and generate test reports determining root cause‑corrective action on failure trends of the equipment.
• Understand and properly use and maintain the test sets and test equipment.
• Implement operational strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, EHS, and continuous improvement objectives for the assigned programs in the factory.
• Drive key program, factory, and department initiatives.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform duties.
• Work under direct supervision using prescribed processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize test processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate lean, continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to lift up to 32 pounds, with or without accommodation; use team lifting or mechanical assistance as required.
• Ability to obtain US Government clearance.
