Job summary

Seaway Plastics seeks an Engineering Sample Technician to coordinate engineering sample activities from scheduling through inspection and documentation. You will work with Process Engineering, Tooling, Program Management, Quality, Production, and Post Molding Operations to ensure samples are prepared, reviewed, and shipped efficiently.

The role involves coordinating sample shipments, maintaining QA logs, and supporting a smooth transition to first production runs.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with good manufacturing practices, quality initiatives, and quality management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly engineering sample schedules and work orders.
• Perform first-piece reviews and initial visual inspections of samples.
• Document cosmetic and physical attributes and dispositions of samples.
