Job summary

Seaway Plastics Engineering in Vadnais Heights, MN is seeking an Engineering Sample Technician to coordinate engineering sample activities from scheduling through inspection, documentation, and shipment. You will work closely with Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program Management to ensure samples are prepared, reviewed, documented, and transitioned to production.

Candidates should have 3-5 years manufacturing experience, with GMP/ISO awareness, and proficiency with QA logs, ERP

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with GMP/ISO quality systems and QA logs.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly engineering sample schedules, work orders, resin requisitions, and shift reporting.
• Perform first-piece reviews and initial visual inspections of engineering samples.
• Document cosmetic and physical attributes; capture dimensional data as required.
• Manage sample disposition for customers, quality, tooling, and retained samples.
• Coordinate timely shipment of samples and follow up with program management.
