Job summary

Howmet Aerospace invites engineering students to join the Engineer Training Program (ETP) to gain hands-on experience across casting processes, materials, and manufacturing steps. You will rotate through three six-month assignments, with the goal of securing a permanent position in one of Howmet Engines facilities.

Participants will work on cross-functional projects, develop technical skills, and explore roles such as Process Engineer, Product Engineer, or Automation Engineer within the Engines

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Engineering with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation date.
• Previous internship / co-op or work experience is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Access to export-controlled items; employment offers conditioned on ability to obtain access.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize projects with the most impact to the business needs.
• Tackle technical challenges and develop high-priority solutions.
• Implement solutions through cross-functional technical development opportunities.
• Develop domain knowledge in casting, materials, thermal processing, dimensional analysis, non-destructive inspections, alloy manufacturing, data analytics, automation, coatings, and facility engineering.
