Job summary

Morton Salt is seeking candidates for a 12-month Operations Rotation Program at an evaporation or solar site. The program targets engineers with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.

Participants will rotate 3–4 months across Production, Mill, Maintenance, and Shipping at multiple U.S. locations and receive mentorship from senior professionals. The program ends with full-time interview opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• 0–2 years’ engineering experience.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the program and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and revise processes to improve safety, quality and efficiency and generate cost savings.
• Develop new processes including researching technologies and evaluating safety, quality and cost.
• Apply engineering knowledge in a hands-on environment and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and people to support construction activities.
• Lead project implementation from planning to closeout with safety and quality focus.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
