Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Resources Supervisor in McLean, VA. You will provide engineering leadership, oversee design development and analyses, and serve as a project lead on complex assignments under a Team Leader.

The role emphasizes supervision, technical documentation, and risk management across CAD/Maximo processes. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills, and detail-oriented work.
• Position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ engineering experience.
• Experience in major project management responsibilities and full engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineers on design development, analyses, or reviews.
• Prepare complete design specifications for complex projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Interface with customers from quotation to testing and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and manage risk registers.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through oral and written reports.
