Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking a Resource Manager—Engineering/Technical to lead sourcing, staffing, and development of engineering and technical talent at Arnold AFB, TN. You will partner with branch managers, drive staffing actions, and ensure compliance with security requirements for a U.S.

Air Force contract. Responsibilities include staffing, interviewing, onboarding support, and coordinating with HR and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, operations management, psychology, or a related technical or business discipline
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, technical, operations, workforce planning, talent selection, or project support role
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements at Arnold Air Force Base

Responsibilities

• Develop initiatives and processes to manage engineering and technical resources to meet project commitments
• Collaborate with Branch Managers to understand changes in resources and workload and identify personnel
• Support candidate selection, interviews and recommendations for hire; advise on staffing actions
• Interface with HR on all aspects of hiring from labor request submission to onboarding
• Support onboarding of new hires and mentoring through Engineering Career Development Program
• Support the BNH Flex Program to meet short-term needs and enhance technical agility
• Recommend rotations or flex assignments to retain critical skills and knowledge
• Assist in engineering development modules and technical career development
• Collaborate to deliver leadership development programs across the organization
• Wear PPE as directed and perform other duties as required
