Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking an Engineering Representative Step 1 to complete the training program and confidently advise customers on electric, gas, and lighting policies. You will handle calls and emails, and use company systems to initiate and complete standard design requests.

You will assist with non-standard projects, participate in quality coaching, maintain customer relationships across departments, and help train new staff to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Algebra or higher completed with grade C or above.
• DC/AC electricity courses or equivalent from accredited institution.
• 1 year experience with electricity may count toward required coursework.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails to gather project details.
• Use systems to initiate, engineer, and complete standard design requests.
• Assist with non-standard projects by asking clarifying questions and documenting notes.
• Participate in quality monitoring and coaching to meet standards.
• Train new employees on duties and computer systems.
