Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Maintenance professional to sustain and service the luxury facilities of the resort. You will be part of the Engineering Operations team, handling HVAC, refrigeration, and safety-related maintenance while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires previous maintenance experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong English communication. Employees benefit from on-site meals, benefits, and development opportunities in a luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role is required.
• Windows applications experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
• Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility
• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
• Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
• Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
• Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.
• Relevant building HVAC experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
