Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Maintenance professional to ensure the upkeep and safe operation of hotel facilities. The role involves HVAC/refrigeration maintenance, safety adherence, and guest assistance within a luxury environment.

Ideal candidates have maintenance experience and EPA 608 certification, with strong English communication and reliable, proactive work habits. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits within a leading hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience is required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• HVAC knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Maintain facility maintenance and operations.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team activities.
• Service refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Identify and report fire or health hazards.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs.
• Assist guests with facilities information.
• Follow all safety policies and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service


• Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility


• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance


• Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility


• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards


• Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log


• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way


• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards


• Follow all safety policies


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role required


• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful


• Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification


• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently


• Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.


• Relevant building HVACexperience is an asset


• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities


• Highly responsible & reliable
