Job summary

Ironclad Powered by Mersino seeks an Engineering and Quality Manager to lead product engineering and quality at the Global Pump Manufacturing facility in Davison, MI. You will guide design decisions, implement robust quality controls, and mentor a team across engineering and quality disciplines.

Responsibilities include setting engineering priorities, coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams, and driving continuous improvement in product validation and process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience in mechanical product design and manufacturing quality.
• Ability to interpret and approve engineering drawings, specs, tolerances, and test results.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong communication across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience handling confidential information professionally.

This role guides the design, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of pumps and related equipment while building practical quality controls throughout purchasing fabrication, assembly, and final inspection.
