Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking candidates for its Engineering PTC Management Development Associate program in Clinton, Iowa. This full-time role offers rotation across Nestlé Purina sites in the U.S. to accelerate leadership in manufacturing engineering and R&D collaboration with corporate teams in St. Louis.

You will engage in research projects, develop factory processes, and gain exposure to quality, safety, supply chain, and production disciplines as you advance toward management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related) attained or expected by June 2027
• Open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina's 24 U.S. manufacturing sites as you progress through the MDA program
• You will start your rotation at the Nestlé Purina factory in Clinton, Iowa

Responsibilities

• Master plant process flows, utility flows, capacities, procedures, and practices
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve process sustainability, capacity, and efficiency
• Plan, organize, and perform trials and experiments (pilot and factory scale) to complete process and product development projects
• Lead capital projects in factories and pilot plants per engineering standards (some travel)
• Handle development and implementation of product line extensions using new and existing equipment in the factory
• Research and propose R&D projects utilizing technical innovations/renovations
• Participate in quarterly technical competence unit (TCU) Engineering calls and the TCU Global Engineering Conference in St. Louis

Education
