Job summary

PlayPower in Dallas, TX is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to manage engineering requests, track deadlines, and maintain project documentation across Engineering, Sales, and Project Management.

You will ensure information is complete, prioritize work, and keep all stakeholders aligned with project status and timelines, supporting a smooth flow of drawings, seals, and shop drawings throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming engineering requests for accuracy, completeness, and required information.
• Identify missing or unclear information and follow up with the appropriate teams before engineering work begins.
• Assign engineering due dates based on current workload, project priorities, standard lead times, and business requirements.
• Monitor engineering requests and follow up on outstanding items to help ensure deadlines are met.
• Process completed engineering documents for required seals, including electronic seals and physical wet stamps.
• Review, organize, and assign shop drawing requests to the appropriate shop team members.
• Ensure drawings and engineering documents are properly processed and distributed to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain accurate and organized project records, documentation, and files within designated project folders.
• Ensure the most current project information and documentation are readily available to the team.
• Serve as a key liaison between Engineering and Sales/Project Management.
• Communicate project updates, engineering status, due dates, and outstanding requirements to relevant team members.
• Clarify project requirements and coordinate the resolution of missing or conflicting information.
• Help facilitate smooth communication and workflow between departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Escalate issues, delays, or information gaps that may impact project schedules or deliverables.
