Job summary

REI Engineers, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to apply engineering principles across design, construction administration, and investigations, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients on multiple projects.

The role requires handling complex calculations, field data analysis and documentation, as well as proposing practical improvements in a collaborative setting. In-person work in Raleigh, NC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Has or is pursuing certification/registration relevant to their solution specialty.
• Able to apply Building Codes, ASTM standards and engineering calculations to field conditions.
• Experienced in preparing project specifications, drawings and submittals.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting code documents and industry standards.
• Capable of directing assessments, investigations and field testing.
• Skilled in documenting conditions and preparing improvement recommendations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Proficient in using basic software for drafting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering documents for complex projects, with calculations and PE review.
• Conduct construction management duties, including meetings, pricing reviews, and submittal reviews.
• Direct assessments and investigations, manage testing apparatus, and document findings.
