Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced project manager to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects in Las Cruces, NM. You will ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery while coordinating staff, external vendors, and client communications.

You will lead safety efforts, manage resources, schedules, budgets, and reporting, and prepare change orders and invoices as needed to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology with 5+ years’ related experience (9 years if no degree).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Develop and implement a project plan for completing the project.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety plan.
• Coordinate resources and prepare calculations, designs, and reports.
• Conduct meetings and prepare status reports for client and team.
• Coordinate invoicing, change orders, and collections with APR and accounting.
