Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Merritt Island to lead design teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and scope on major industrial or aerospace facilities.

The role focuses on reducing risk while delivering timely, high‑quality results. The ideal candidate has an ABET‑accredited BS degree, 5–7 years of technical engineering/construction experience, and at least 3 years in project management, with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree is required.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience; DoD/Aerospace projects preferred.
• 5-7 years of technical experience in engineering/construction environment preferred.
• Proficiency in project controls, cost management, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, SharePoint, and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team to produce complete, timely, quality deliverables within budget.
• Plan activities, costs, and schedules based on team input and client scope.
• Coordinate with clients and locations on sensitive or secure information.
• Manage project scope, changes, and closeout documentation.
• Track lessons learned and support continuous improvements in processes.
