Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Project Manager for a rising star structural engineering firm. Candidates should hold a 4-year Civil/Structural Engineering degree and PE registration or the ability to obtain one, with 5+ years of structural design experience and proven leadership to guide a team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, Navisworks, and Building Information Modeling is required. This role involves client interaction, delivers projects on time and within budget, and includes ~10%

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with clients and senior leadership.
• Deliver projects within budgeted hours and deadlines.
• Manage billable expectations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Travel approximately 10% (short visits 2–3 days).
• Develop code-compliant, cost-effective structural systems from drawings and models.
• Provide construction administration and respond to RFIs.
• Perform quality site inspections during construction.

We are a rising star structural engineering firm looking to grow the team. Currently working in 39 states on meaningful projects. We deal with everything from the evaluation of Historic Landmarks to the development of cutting edge designs. We need more Civil Engineers with a passion to create to help build the future!

Project Manager Requirements:

• 4 Year Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering, PE Registration or the ability to get one.
• 5 plus years of Structural Design Experience
• Leadership skills to run a team and keep them on track
• Client facing knowledge and experience with collaborating with a team
• Competent in AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, Navisworks and Building Information Modeling
• No sponsorship candidates

Project Manager Duties:

• Strong communication to both clients and senior leadership
• Deliver Projects within established budgeted hours and deadlines
• Mange Billable Expectations
• Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed
• 10% travel is expected and could increase as projects get close to completion. (Typically short visits 2-3 days)
• Work with drawings, computer models and verbal information supplied by the Client to develop a code compliant and cost-effective structural system
• Perform Construction Administration services including the review of specifications and shop drawings, prepare/respond to construction RFIs.
• Perform Construction Quality site inspections

Project Manager Bene's:
