Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead ETO engineering initiatives in the United States. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to deliver complex programs on time and within quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of PM experience, PMP preferred, and can travel 10–20%. You will partner with executive leadership and manage cost controls, contracts, and external resources while maintaining stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5–10 years of project management experience.
  • 5–10 years of demonstrated PM experience managing medium to large projects.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects from planning to delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management with executive leadership exposure.
  • Familiarity with PMBOK and ETO project management.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 10–20%.
  • Flexible schedule 7 AM–5 PM with on-call as needed.
  • Background and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ETO engineering projects within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage project resources.
  • Mitigate project risks and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Communicate project status and strategize for project success with the cross-functional Leadership Team.
  • Resolve project issues as they arise.
  • Manage medium to large projects comprised of several project team members.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Work with Operations and Estimating staff to develop design/engineering project budgets and proposals.
  • Identify project risks and assumptions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project costs, including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting.
  • Manage project-related invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and external resources.
  • Maintain regular, transparent communication with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget, schedule, contingency, and quality standards.
  • Foster friendly and constructive employee relations and promote a positive company culture.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Project Management, Analytics, or a related field is required
  • Minimum 5-10 years of demonstrated Project Management experience
  • Recent experience managing medium to large projects with medium to high complexity
  • Proficient in managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from planning to delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with Executive Leadership
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMBOK methodology and ETO project management
  • Preferred Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%
  • Ability to work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday, with availability to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
  • Employment contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test
